Hi, my name is Tao Lu. I’m deeply fascinated by design practices from UI/UX, 3D Modeling to Augmented Reality. I see myself as a relentless problem-solver, always looking for new challenges. Project Name
“Still. Moving.” is a personal project inspired by “24 Frames” – an experimental film directed by Iranian filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami.
This responsive website comprises a simple introduction to the world-renowned film director and some of his famous works, as well as five cinemagraphs I created with various themes from living world to classic movie, from reality to supernatural. I tried to explore the relationship between still photography (as single frame) and moving image (as multiple sequential frames), to create new contexts and watching experiences for people’s own interpretation.
